Job Summary
Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, dental procedures, and medical treatments while safely restraining and handling patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques. Monitor anesthesia, vital signs, and hospitalized patients, performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and administering medications. Collect laboratory samples, run in-house diagnostics, assist with imaging, and support emergency triage, stabilization, and CPR. Prepare surgical suites, maintain strict sterilization protocols, fill prescriptions under supervision, and educate clients on preventive care and home instructions. Maintain accurate medical records, manage inventory, and keep treatment areas compliant with safety standards. This four-day work week includes no nights, on-call shifts, or holidays. Required Qualifications
- Previous veterinary technician experience
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT)
- Proficiency with veterinary software and basic computer skills
- Commitment to maintaining accurate medical records and high standards of patient care
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
