Job Summary
Partner with veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care by assisting with examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and surgical care. Anticipate team needs to promote efficient hospital workflow while using sound clinical judgment to support patient outcomes. Communicate compassionately with clients, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure clinical areas remain clean and stocked. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and actively participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience
- An active veterinary technician license for candidates applying as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- The confidence to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- A positive, supportive approach grounded in teamwork and mutual respect
- Compassion and empathy for patients, clients, teammates, and yourself
- A willingness to share knowledge, ask questions, and support the growth of others
- The ability to anticipate team needs and contribute to an efficient workflow
- A commitment to continued learning and professional development
- Monday - Friday. Rotating Saturdays
