Job Summary
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures, including anesthetizing and monitoring perioperative patients. Obtain patient histories, vitals, and diagnostic samples while performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory work, and radiology. Prepare medications and vaccines, safely restrain patients, and maintain accurate records following OSHA guidelines. Requires previous veterinary technician experience, surgical skills, and a collaborative mindset. Full-time role with a 4-day work week including Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience
- Strong surgical and anesthesia monitoring skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- 4-day work week
- Saturdays required as part of the schedule
