Job Summary
Anticipate the needs of the DVM team to promote efficiency and teamwork while providing skilled, compassionate support during patient care and treatment. Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes, asking for help when needed and offering support to teammates. Share your knowledge, skills, and experiences with others while exploring different areas of veterinary medicine to broaden your skill set. Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings, communicate openly with veterinarians and support staff, and contribute ideas that improve patient care, hospital workflows, and the team experience. Maintain a positive and supportive approach, even during busy days. Full-time role with 8:30 am to 5 pm schedule and Saturday availability; salary from $20/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Strong veterinary patient care and technical skills
- Creative thinking and the confidence to share your ideas
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A positive, supportive, and team-focused approach
- The ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff
- Confidence to own tasks and responsibilities
