Job Summary
Support veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental work, and treatment procedures; perform nursing tasks such as placing IVs, monitoring anesthesia, managing fluid therapies, and administering medications; perform medical math including drug calculations and CRIs; educate and communicate with clients about care and treatment plans; maintain a clean, organized treatment area; restrain sometimes-large pets; stay flexible and professional under shifting priorities; requires at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician (or similar role)
- Strong technical skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Solid time-management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to restrain animals
- Team-first attitude and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
