Job Summary
Veterinary Technician Trainer responsible for on-site staff training for Technicians and Assistants across assigned hospital(s); maintains proficiency of department and technician competencies, facilitates staff education, documents training status and outcomes, and provides feedback to leadership on programs; collaborates with the national Technician Trainer to help develop new programs, digital content, recruitment initiatives, and training materials; supports ongoing education and professional development to elevate patient care within the hospital(s); role requires scheduling as an active Veterinary Technician and involves fostering strong working relationships among technicians, assistants, and other hospital staff; employment with BluePearl Veterinary Health, part of Mars Veterinary Health, with continuous learning opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package; compensation range is $28 - $41 per hour, starting point dependent on experience and advancement through the competency leveling system.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain RVT/LVT/LVT/CVT in accordance with state laws (preferred)
- High School Diploma required
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training required
- Previous supervisory capacity or background in education preferred
