Job Summary
Lead onboarding, orientation, and training of ER RVTs/VTAs; drive hospital-wide initiatives, develop and implement SOPs, and contribute to the VAERC Training Manual. Direct scheduling, equitable coverage, and recruitment efforts in the ER team; facilitate performance feedback and staff development; uphold health and safety standards; coordinate with leadership and hospital committees; provide timely progress updates to senior leadership. Strong communication, problem-solving, and confidential, professional collaboration with DVMs, VTA/CSS, and leadership are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program and RVT status in good standing with BCVTA
