Job Summary
Surgery-focused Veterinary Technician responsible for nursing care of stable surgical patients, post-operative client communication, and collaboration with the surgical team. Must be able to place peripheral IV catheters, monitor vital signs, administer fluids, operate IV pumps, and assist with anesthesia-related tasks as part of BluePearl’s trauma/emergency veterinary services. rotation on a team with on-call requirements after training; sign-on bonus available for qualified CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT/VTS and experienced veterinary assistants.
Required Qualifications
- CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT/VTS certification
- 2+ years veterinary hospital experience (preferred)
- ability to place peripheral intravenous catheter
- monitor vital parameters
- set up and troubleshoot intravenous fluid pumps
- on-call schedule after training
