Job Summary
Direct work flow on the floor and conduct staff meetings to maintain hospital culture. Mentor technicians, assist in interview processes for new hires, and refine protocols to ensure VCA policies are implemented. Resolve conflicts professionally while working cohesively with management to aid hospital progression. Provide opportunities for staff to gain firsthand experience and support educational development. Full-time role with weekend rotation and variable days. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $32.00 per hour based on skill set and licensure. Located at VCA Brickell Animal Hospital in Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT Preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Team leadership experience
- Passion for Veterinary Medicine
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full Time, weekend rotation, days vary
