Job Summary
Provide leadership and support to clinical team members during assigned shifts, coordinating workflow to promote efficient patient care and hospital operations. Monitor staffing needs, assist with daily resource allocation, and mentor, coach, and support Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff. Participate in performance management, training, and professional development initiatives, while assisting with onboarding, training new team members, and implementing hospital policies and patient care standards. Maintain a strong clinical presence to assist with patient care as needed and work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams. This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts per week with day and swing shift supervisory opportunities, situated within a modern specialty hospital featuring advanced imaging and a focus on team wellness and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing or ability to obtain Washington licensure
- fluent English speaking and reading skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments
