Lead daily veterinary technician operations by overseeing clinical workflows, ensuring consistent training, and maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Balance direct floor leadership with strategic support to elevate medical protocols and foster a positive, growth-focused culture. Requires 3+ years of veterinary technician experience with strong technical skills in surgery and anesthesia.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong technical skills (surgery, anesthesia, patient care, workflow coordination)
- Knowledge of compliance standards (controlled substances, medical documentation, etc.)
- Organized, solution-oriented, and confident in decision-making
- Able to balance team support with accountability and performance standards
- Comfortable navigating change and helping teams adapt (especially with new systems and workflows)
- A positive, 'let's figure it out' mindset with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into leadership
- Passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing others
- Experience with PIMS and other veterinary software (EzyVet, VetSnap etc.)
