Job Summary
Coordinate daily patient schedules and assist with prioritization in collaboration with Radiologists and Specialty teams. Intake patients for referral imaging and facilitate safe movement between departments. Position, restrain, and monitor patients during radiographs, ultrasounds, CT scans, and other imaging procedures. Perform venipuncture and administer sedation under the direction of Specialists. Upload and manage imaging files in the viewing database; document patient care and charges in medical systems. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on positioning and image quality, training team members as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts with one weekend day required. Compensation ranges from $24 to $37/hr based on credential status.
Required Qualifications
- LVT, CVT, or RVT credential preferred
- Two or more years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in a veterinary hospital
- Previous experience working in an emergency or specialty veterinary hospital preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers, electronic medical records, and data entry
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency and critical care environment
- Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) required
- RECOVER CPR certification a plus
