Job Summary

Radiation Oncology veterinary technician role supporting patients through advanced radiation therapies alongside a board-certified Radiation Oncologist and anesthesiology team. Responsibilities include guiding clients through appointments and treatments, assisting with patient assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning, monitoring anesthesia and sedation, supporting radiation protocols (SRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, palliative radiation), ensuring patient comfort and safety, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing client education. Onboarding/training provided to grow specialization in radiation oncology. Requires CVT/LVT/RVT credential in good standing, strong technical skills in patient care and anesthesia monitoring, excellent communication, organizational and multitasking abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Four 9–10 hour shifts per week in Portsmouth, NH.

Required Qualifications

  • CVT/LVT/RVT credential in good standing
  • Certified, Licensed, or Credentialed Veterinary Technician
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills
