Job Summary
As a Veterinary Technician at Petfolk, contribute to high-quality patient care within a collaborative veterinary team in Lake Mary or Orlando. Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring; perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement; conduct lab diagnostics; educate pet parents with compassion; maintain accurate medical documentation; promote Fear-Free, low-stress handling; and mentor assistants to uphold an exceptional, team-oriented care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we’ll pay for it)
- Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow
