Job Summary

Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring while performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics. Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity, ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories. Promote low-stress, Fear-Free techniques in every interaction and mentor assistants to foster a culture of teamwork and excellence. Requires 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience, Florida licensure, and confidence in surgery and diagnostics. Paid holidays include no on-call or overnight shifts, with benefits covering medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) match and annual continuing education stipends.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida
  • Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow

Desired Qualifications

  • Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we'll pay for it)
