Job Summary
Veterinary Technician role delivering high-quality patient care, supporting veterinarians, and helping pet parents feel confident and informed. Responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring; performing venipuncture and IV catheter placement; conducting lab diagnostics; educating pet parents with compassion; maintaining accurate medical documentation and patient histories; promoting low-stress and Fear-Free handling; mentoring assistants and fostering teamwork and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
