Job Summary
Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring while performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics. Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity, ensure accurate medical documentation, and promote low-stress, Fear-Free techniques in every interaction. Mentor assistants and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence within the clinical setting. This part-time role in Indianapolis requires 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience and an active Indiana license. We offer Fear Free certification, provided scrubs, and discounts on services and medications.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work both weekdays and weekends
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Indiana
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow
Desired Qualifications
- Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we'll pay for it)
