Job Summary
Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring while performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics. Educate pet parents with compassion, ensure accurate medical documentation, and promote low-stress, Fear-Free techniques in every interaction. Mentor assistants and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence within the medical team. This weekend-only role requires Saturday and Sunday availability for a licensed Georgia Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday and Sunday availability; this is a weekend-only role
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Georgia
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling
Desired Qualifications
- Fear Free Certification (certification a plus, and we'll pay for it)
