Job Summary
Veterinary Technician (Part-Time) at Petfolk in Oklahoma City. Deliver high-quality patient care, support veterinarians, and educate pet parents. Responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring; performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics; maintaining medical documentation and patient histories; promoting Fear-Free handling; mentoring assistants and fostering teamwork. Requires 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience and Oklahoma LVT/RVT/CVT license. Weekend availability preferred. Benefits include Fear Free Certification for all team members and company-branded scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Oklahoma
- Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus, and we’ll pay for it)
- Saturday and Sunday availability preferred
