Veterinary Technician - Oncology

Job Summary
Provide oncology nursing and patient care for veterinary patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy administration and safety protocols. Support diagnostics and procedural nursing, venipuncture, laboratory sample handling, biopsies, and coordination of imaging. Educate clients on treatment plans and home care, and collaborate closely with Oncology, Internal Medicine, Emergency, ICU, and specialty teams to maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care throughout the oncology care journey. Ideal candidates will have experience in specialty or emergency veterinary settings, strong client communication, and a passion for oncology and quality of life for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
- Strong veterinary nursing and patient care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive environment
