Job Summary
Veterinary Technician Neurology in the Neurology Department (RVTo be an RVT in Neurology requires anesthesia experience and at least 3 years in the role). Responsibilities include venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication calculations and administration, digital radiography, patient prep and recovery, epidural administration, anesthesia monitoring for procedures (CT/MRI), assisting doctors during appointments and surgeries, sterile scrubs, client education, and maintaining detailed medical records. The role requires on-call, holidays/weekends, and other OT as needed; benefits include a sign-on bonus and growth opportunities, with licenses and CE support.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years RVT experience
- anesthesia experience
- RVT IS REQUIRED
- strong communication and organizational skills
- accuracy in anesthetic calculations
