Job Summary
Lead and manage ER/ICU veterinary technicians in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital, combining hands-on emergency nursing with team leadership. Responsibilities include mentoring and developing technicians and assistants, supporting staffing, scheduling, and daily department operations, maintaining high standards of patient care and client service, assisting DVMs with emergency procedures, anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery, triage and emergency case management, and overseeing laboratory procedures, imaging, phlebotomy, and medication administration. Collaboration with Medical Director, Hospital Director, and Emergency DVM leadership; CE allowance and professional development support; four 10-hour shifts per week; Alpharetta, GA. Qualifications include licensed technician with strong emergency/critical care skills; VTS strongly preferred; minimum 2 years of emergency/critical care experience and 2 years in leadership or management; strong communication and leadership abilities.
