Job Summary

Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and utilize Fear Free techniques for low-stress handling. Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and conduct in-house laboratory testing while obtaining diagnostic radiographs. Assist with surgical and dental procedures, induce and monitor anesthetic patients, and perform dental cleanings. Administer medications, vaccines, and fluids as directed, and educate clients on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate medical records, support daily hospital flow, and mentor newer team members. Keep treatment and surgery areas clean and well-stocked while communicating effectively with doctors and client service representatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
  • Strong technical skills in anesthesia, dentistry, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and patient care
  • Experience in small animal general practice
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate medical documentation
  • Ability to safely lift, restrain, and care for patients throughout the day
  • No weekend shifts
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
