Job Summary
Provide advanced diagnostics and treatments in Internal Medicine for complex medical cases, working with board-certified specialists to deliver high-level care. Support with ultrasound-guided sampling, endoscopy, cystoscopy, bronchoscopy, and bone marrow aspirates; collect and process laboratory samples; operate and troubleshoot specialized diagnostic equipment. Monitor hospitalized patients and assist anesthesia during procedures; manage medications, IV fluids, and therapeutic treatments. Collaborate with veterinarians for client education, case updates, and detailed medical record documentation. Join a collaborative, mentorship-driven team with opportunities for growth and a four-day work week (Tuesday–Friday) and no weekends in a Tennessee emergency and specialty center.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Tennessee or eligible for licensure
- 2–3+ years of experience in Internal Medicine, Emergency, or Specialty practice
- Strong technical proficiency in anesthesia and patient monitoring, diagnostic procedures and sample handling, critical patient care
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
