Job Summary
Conduct hands-on patient care by running appointments, collecting samples, placing IV catheters, and taking radiographs including dental work. Support anesthesia procedures from induction through recovery and ensure smooth surgery operations. Educate clients on pet care plans and answer questions to build confidence. Mentor newer team members while maintaining thorough technical standards in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- at least a couple of years in a small animal setting
- feel confident in your technical skills
- comfortable with medical math
- can juggle a busy day without losing your cool
- take pride in doing things thoroughly
- communicate well
