Job Summary
Assist veterinarians with routine general practice procedures including exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement. Support surgical cases such as spay/neuter and mass removals while managing patient intake, client communication, and education. Coordinate patient flow and appointment coordination in a fast-paced setting. Collaborate with the GP team to shape workflows, culture, and best practices from the start. This full-time role begins with a flexible 4-day Monday-Thursday schedule (7:30am to 6pm) effective September 2026, with potential for schedule changes or weekend days as the clinic expands. The position offers a pay range of $28 to $32 per hour plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Work within a newly built facility featuring onsite CBC, chemistries, cytologies, digital radiography, and ultrasound.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/Credentialed veterinary technician
- Minimum 1 2 years of experience in small animal practice including surgery
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Comfortable using practice management software and diagnostic equipment
- Demonstrates compassion, teamwork, initiative, and respect
- No weekends or major holidays
- Flexible 4-day schedule to start, set schedule of Monday - Thursday (7:30am to 6pm) schedule as of September 2026
- Potential for schedule change or start time change in future, or weekend day with growth
