Veterinary Technician (Ft. Worth/Mid-Cities)

Job Summary
Administer prescribed treatments, run in-house lab samples, perform radiographs, draw blood, place IV catheters, and induce and monitor anesthesia. Input notes and charges into the practice management system while maintaining a clean, orderly clinic environment. Cross-train in basic client experience duties and collaborate with veterinarians, client specialists, and the managing partner. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE and reporting incidents. Work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to four hours.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma
- Ability to clear initial and random background checks, medical, and drug screenings
- Ability to work and adhere to a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free workplace
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
- Ability to sit, stand, move over uneven terrain, climb stairs
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and through the majority of an assigned work shift
- Ability to meet regular attendance requirements
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to foster a culture of respect
