Job Summary
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery while safely restraining animals and performing technical duties like lab work, radiographs, and IV catheter placement. Communicate clearly with clients regarding care instructions and status updates, maintain accurate medical records, and assist with medication dispensing. Keep exam rooms and equipment clean, stocked, and ready while adhering to hospital safety and regulatory guidelines. This full-time role at Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in Wildwood, MO requires open availability for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of veterinary experience
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines
- open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Reliability and a team-oriented attitude
