Job Summary
Veterinary Technician is needed to perform advanced nursing care, administer medications, support anesthesia and emergency procedures, interpret diagnostics, and maintain comprehensive medical records. Responsibilities include client communication, patient flow management from admission to discharge, cross-service collaboration with veterinarians and staff, and creation of discharge instructions and treatment plans. Required Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Nurse/Technician in good standing
- VTS certification is a plus
- Students enrolled in accredited veterinary technology program on track for credentialing encouraged
- 1-3 years working as a Veterinary Nurse/Technician in a clinical hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in medical record-keeping and documentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Fluent English (speaking & reading) required for the role
