Job Summary
Provide triage and stabilize incoming patients, administer IV, IM, SQ, and PO medications, and assist with diagnostics including radiographs, bloodwork, and ECGs. Manage fluid therapy and anesthesia monitoring as needed while supporting emergency procedures and critical care. Maintain detailed medical records, facilitate patient admissions and discharges, and communicate effectively with doctors, teammates, and clients in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Work directly with ER doctors to deliver excellent patient care, ensuring calm multitasking and advocacy under pressure. Full-time Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday shifts from 7:30am to 8:00pm, with some holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Strong organizational and client communication skills
- Comfortable with advanced diagnostics, imaging, and anesthetic monitoring
- Tech-savvy and able to learn veterinary software systems
- A collaborative, compassionate approach to specialty patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Some holidays are required
