Job Summary
Emergency Veterinary Technician role at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists supporting Emergency and Critical Care (ECC). Work 4x10-hour shifts across Buzzards Bay and Dennis locations, performing triage, stabilization, inpatient care, discharge planning, and collaboration with veterinarians. Provide advanced nursing care including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesia monitoring; utilize EMRs; communicate clearly with team members and pet owners; contribute to a fast-paced, gold-standard care environment and ongoing skill growth through a generous CE program and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Current CVT, LVT, or RVT (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months)
- Veterinary emergency experience essential
- RECOVER certification and/or VTS ECC credentials a plus (or strong desire to pursue specialization)
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- A calm, adaptable mindset with strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities
