Job Summary
Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician responsible for supporting emergency presentations, ICU-level care, triage, administering medications and fluids, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, anesthesia support, diagnostic imaging, and monitoring of critically ill patients. Collaborates with Emergency Doctors, Criticalists, Specialists, and hospital teams; maintains accurate medical records; provides client communication and education; seeks advanced training such as VTS ECC. Onboarding at our Marietta hospital before transitioning to the new Dunwoody facility; eligible for continuing education opportunities and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years veterinary experience preferred
- Graduate from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program
- Pass VTNE
- licensure within previous three years
- Strong anesthesia and patient care skills
