Job Summary
The Cardiology Technician serves as the primary technician to the Cardiologist(s), assisting with daily duties and implementing treatment/diagnostic plans. Responsibilities include patient intake and history documentation in EzyVet and SmartFlow, client communication, assisting with exams and procedures (including echocardiography and other cardiology studies), perioperative care planning, and ensuring clean, stocked exam spaces. The role requires compassion, professionalism, teamwork, and a focus on patient care and client experience in a fast-paced cardiology team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT licensure
- at least 1+ years of veterinary hospital experience
- Broad technical abilities including Phlebotomy, catheterization, patient restraint, radiographs, in-house lab, pharmacology, medication/fluid/oxygen administration, fluoroscopy
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading)
