Job Summary
Provide high-quality nursing care for wellness, sick, urgent, and hospitalized patients, including ongoing assessment of vital parameters, pain management, and patient comfort. Perform technical procedures such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, diagnostic radiography, anesthesia induction and monitoring, and comprehensive dental cleanings. Assist with surgical and anesthesia cases, including scrubbing for complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, managing equipment, and supporting advanced procedures. Educate clients using Fear Free principles on preventative care, medication administration, and post-operative monitoring. Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient hospital workflow. Requires minimum one year of veterinary hospital experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency in EzyVet software. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary hospital experience in a technical role
