Job Summary
Assist with patient care, monitoring, treatments, restraint, and routine diagnostic tests (radiographs, bloodwork, reading fecals). Maintain inventory and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, exam rooms, and treatment areas. Administer medications under Veterinarian/Vet Tech supervision. Feed and bathe patients. Answer phones and help clients with their pets. Shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working in veterinary medicine. Prior Emergency experience is prioritized.
- Understanding of basic veterinary knowledge including restraint.
- Attention to detail with strong communication skills with clients and team members.
- Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; multilingual a plus.
