Job Summary
Experienced Anesthesia Recovery Technician to monitor post-operative patients, record vitals (HR, RR, SpO2, temperature, BP), respond to recovery complications (dysphoria, hypothermia, airway concerns), perform extubation and pain assessment, assist with radiographs and OR setup/teardown, fill medications and submit lab samples, and coordinate with anesthesia, surgery, and ICU teams to ensure safe recoveries in a fast-paced surgical unit.
Required Qualifications
- Veterinary assistant or technician experience required
- Previous anesthesia or recovery experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of anesthetic monitoring and recovery protocols
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
