Job Summary

Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and procedures; prepare examination rooms; safely restrain animals for exams and treatments; administer medications and collect samples under supervision; educate clients on pet care and post-treatment instructions; maintain patient records using DaySmart (formerly Vetter) PIMS; order and stock clinic supplies; handle client communications, schedule appointments, and perform reception duties; uphold cleanliness and safety standards in a veterinary clinic. Requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stand for extended periods. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in animal care is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency with veterinary software and basic computer skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
