Job Summary
Join our busy 3-doctor veterinary team at Dade City Animal Clinic as a Veterinary Technician. The role involves nursing care and animal handling for a variety of species including small animals, birds, and exotics, with a focus on preventative and urgent care. Schedule features four weekday shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5 pm) and a half day every other Saturday. Located at 13117 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525. Requires 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a technician or assistant, knowledge of industry tools and equipment, and strong animal-handling skills. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
