Job Summary
Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and urgent care patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with diagnostics and procedures. Perform technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting patient admissions and discharges. Collaborate with veterinarians and specialists to deliver exceptional patient care, communicating changes in condition to the medical team. This 2nd shift role requires weekend availability and rotating holidays, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $20 to $28 plus a shift differential. Required Qualifications
- Certified veterinary technician, preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and handle pets weighing 40+ pounds
- Ability to remain active throughout your shift
- Available to work a weekend shift each week
- Available to work rotating holidays
