Job Summary
Veterinary Surgery Liaison to support the AAHA-accredited surgery department by maintaining smooth patient flow, communicating with referring veterinarians and hospitals, updating pet owners, scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with discharge instructions, entering and managing medical records, checking patients in/out, and handling deposits/payments. Strong emphasis on clear, compassionate communication, multitasking, and teamwork to improve client experience and efficiency in the surgery team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital (technician, liaison, or CSR)
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary software
- Basic math skills for deposits and payments
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Clear, kind communication and a calm, professional approach
- Respectful and attentive with clients, referring veterinarians, and teammates
