Job Summary
Urgent veterinary surgeries focus with a facility in development to support 3 surgeons. Expect 4–6 surgeries per day depending on case type; building a strong support team (5 techs/assistants, 1 receptionist, 1 manager). Owner seeks experienced surgeons who love surgery, with leadership potential and the possibility to contribute to facility creation, surgery templates, go-home instructions, and marketing. Not boarded is acceptable; Medical Director level interest is desirable. Compensation includes base plus production, with relocation/sign-on available and market exposure through active marketing to referrals.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary license
- Experience in veterinary surgery
- Ability to lead and develop a surgical team
- Willingness to relocate to NM or TX
- Not required to be boarded (open to non-boarded surgeons)
- Leadership potential for Medical Director role
- Referral-based caseload experience
