Job Summary
Conduct first opinion surgery and manage a varied case load including behaviour referrals in a newly refurbished practice. Deliver 15-minute consults alongside admin duties, with nursing support for post-op checks and vaccinations. Operate within a collaborative clinical team featuring an experienced RVN, a veterinary behaviourist, and surgical specialists. Manage 1.5 weekends monthly on-call rotation while working part-time hours of 2 to 3 days per week. Join a stable team of five vets and eight RVNs at Warrington Riverside Vets for Pets, a teaching practice recognised with RCVS and ISFM accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Competency in first opinion surgery
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
- 1.5 weekends a month availability
Desired Qualifications
- Part-time role preference (2 to 3 days per week)
- Surgical certificate
- Veterinary behaviourist skills
- OV (Ophthalmic Veterinarian) qualification
