Job Summary
Conduct surgical procedures and routine medical cases within a varied caseload split between surgery and medicine. Collaborate with the wider practice team to deliver high-standard patient and client care while developing clinical skills and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Utilize available equipment including ultrasound, X-ray, and a fully equipped operating theatre to support same-day lab results. Work within a supportive environment featuring spacious consult rooms and a separate euthanasia room, with access to nearby OOH services at Pool House Veterinary Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
