Job Summary
Conduct hands-on patient care in GP, ER, and specialty settings including ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and emergency workups under the supervision of experienced veterinarians. Participate actively in surgical cases, dental procedures, and routine medical appointments while engaging in case discussions and collaborative problem-solving to verify exam findings with your supervising veterinarian. This clinical externship provides transformative experience for AVMA-accredited students across Peoria Area Veterinary Group's network of over 100 hospital locations, offering mentorship and diverse skills development in dogs and cats.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current veterinary student at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Must provide proof of professional liability insurance

Desired Qualifications
- Priority scheduling is given to students in their clinical years on official externship blocks for school credit
