Job Summary
Conduct hands-on patient care in GP, ER, and specialty settings including soft tissue surgery, dentistry, emergencies, sick patient workups, and routine medical appointments. Participate actively in case discussions and collaborative problem-solving with supervising veterinarians to verify exam findings before proceeding. Submit daily case logs and share learning goals at the start of your rotation. This externship provides clinical-year students at AVMA-accredited schools with diverse experience across Main Street's network of 100+ locations, offering mentorship and confidence building in a compassionate environment focused on preventive care and advanced diagnostics for dogs and cats.
