Job Summary
Participate in active case management, including surgical cases, dental procedures, emergencies, sick patient workups, and routine medical appointments under the supervision of an experienced veterinarian. Discuss case findings with your supervising veterinarian to verify exam findings before proceeding with treatment plans. Gain hands-on experience in ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, dentistry, wellness, and medical appointments within a large, multi-doctor small animal practice.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current veterinary student at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Must provide proof of professional liability insurance
- Must be a current veterinary student at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school

Desired Qualifications
- Priority scheduling is given to students in their clinical years on official externship blocks for school credit
