Job Summary
Board-certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist (or registrar close to sitting exams) to join MVSC's Internal Medicine service in Melbourne. Role involves managing a varied and complex referral caseload, delivering high-quality, evidence-based specialist care, and collaborating with Surgery, Dermatology and Behavioural Medicine teams. Opportunity to help shape ongoing growth and development of the Internal Medicine service with autonomy and strong support, and flexible full-time or part-time arrangements. Visa sponsorship plus relocation support available. MVSC operates across two Melbourne locations (Glen Waverley main hospital and Essendon Fields for Dermatology), with advanced imaging facilities and a collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence and staff wellbeing.
Required Qualifications
- Veterinary degree registerable in Australia
- Specialist qualifications (FANZCVS, DACVIM or DECVIM) or residency completed with plans to sit exams soon
