Job Summary
Greet clients and patients positively, convert incoming calls into scheduled appointments, and maximize client call conversion by managing phone interactions and scheduling veterinary care. Promote Care Companion Plans, perform weekly proactive reminder calls, and administer patient intake and discharge while maintaining accurate medical charts. Handle cashier duties including daily drawer reconciliation, facilitate online pharmacy utilization, and ensure the reception area remains clean and inviting. Work onsite in a hospital environment with flexibility for 10+ hour shifts, weekends, and holidays, while adhering to OSHA standards and learning basic veterinary technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience working with computers
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Flexibility with schedules, including 10+ hour shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to type 40+ wpm
- Basic MS Office products (Word, Excel) and email systems
- Reception position performed onsite at our hospital or offsite event locations
- Remote work is not available
Desired Qualifications
- Veterinary experience
- Front desk or call center experience in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for handling dogs, cats, and exotic animals
