Job Summary
Answer incoming calls in a calm, cheerful, and professional manner while creating a welcoming experience for every client. Schedule appointments, manage the hospital's daily calendar, and maintain accurate client and patient records by documenting detailed notes and communications. Coordinate communication between departments and support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering high-quality care. Educate clients about wellness care, pet nutrition, and other aspects of their pets' health while advocating for patients to maintain a safe, organized, and effective hospital environment. Manage multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities throughout the day in a collaborative team-first attitude.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- The ability to make every person you interact with feel welcome and appreciated
- Strong written communication, recordkeeping, and note-taking skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask effectively in a busy veterinary environment
- Clear communication with clients and hospital team members
- A collaborative, team-first attitude
- Comfort safely and compassionately interacting with both cats and dogs
- The physical ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and safely interact with cats and dogs
- Monday–Thursday and Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Fridays off; schedule subject to change
