Job Summary
Veterinary Receptionist role at Sampson Park Vets in Peterborough, UK. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, handling appointment bookings and diary scheduling, enquiries, and payments while supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a positive client and patient journey. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, managing bookings, handling calls and emails professionally, processing payments, maintaining records, and delivering outstanding customer service in a busy veterinary practice. Working pattern is 40 hours per week with an option for one full-time position or two part-time positions, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:00pm), no out-of-hours commitments, and flexibility to cover holidays/sickness as needed. Key skills include excellent communication, multitasking and prioritisation, teamwork, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal care; veterinary experience is beneficial but not essential.
